Raphaël Guermonprez

Head of Conseil Municipal

Raphaël Guermonprez was born and raised in the south of France. He is a first-year student enrolled in the dual degree between Sciences Po and the LUISS of Rome. He will be the head of the Conseil MUNicipal, which is a comity in French, shaping the assembly of a French municipality. Since his high school years, he's been very interested in how international politics had an impact on the daily lives of human-beings. Thus, he started to invest himself at a local scale in order to play his part in municipal actions. He shaped his interest in politics through his various experiences, which allowed him to develop an interest in the MENA region and its connections to Europe, and that is partly why he chose to do a degree focusing on social sciences and politics within two Mediterranean European countries. Participating in MEDMUN will help him still being part of political events that could shape the future of the region he cherishes.
