Osman Senefe
Logistics Director
Osman Şenefe is a second year student majoring in politics and governement at Sciences Po. He began his Model United Nations journey in middle school, participating as a delegate in JMUN conferences. His passion for debate and international affairs continued into high school, where he became President of his school’s MUN club and later served as Secretary General of the Saint-Michel Model United Nations 2021 Conference (SMUN). His interests in law, sustainability, and international relations have driven his deeper involvement in diplomacy and MUN.
Born and raised in Istanbul, a city renowned for its rich cultural diversity, Osman’s perspective has been shaped by the unique blend of cultures, histories, and traditions that Istanbul offers. Situated at the intersection of Europe, Asia, the Mediterranean, and the Black Sea, his home city is a symbol of cultural convergence, which has deeply influenced his outlook on global affairs and inspired his focus on the Mediterranean region—a region that faces numerous challenges, such as humanitarian crises, environmental concerns, and political tensions.
At MEDMUN 2024, Osman served as Delegate, Chair, and Content Coordinator for English Committees, where he was responsible for preparing content, selecting speakers, and overseeing candidate selection for committee roles. For MEDMUN 2025, Osman now serves as Logistics Director, managing the logistics of the conference, including transportation, catering, and materials. Additionally, as Treasurer, he is tasked with overseeing financial planning and managing the budget for both SPMUN 2024 and MEDMUN 2025, ensuring the financial success of the conferences. His broad experience in MUN roles reflects his dedication to fostering dialogue and cooperation across diverse perspectives.
