Nehir Tozum

Nehir Tozum is a dedicated individual with a diverse background in academics, leadership, and community involvement. Born in Ankara, Turkey, she previously lived in Chicago, where she graduated from the Lycée Français de Chicago with the French International Baccalaureate (BFI), excelling in her studies. Currently, Nehir is pursuing the Sciences Po–UC Berkeley dual degree program, studying at Sciences Po's Menton campus. Fluent in Turkish, English, French, and learning Spanish, she combines her linguistic skills with leadership roles in student government, where she served as class representative, and as a leader at non-profit organizations like Bridge to Turkiye Fund. Her work has been recognized multip[le times by the Turkish consulate in Chicago. As part of her community work, Nehir organized fundraisers, and online campaigns and participated in translation projects, contributing to Turkish-English translations for academic collaborations. Her passion for international relations has led to internships at law offices and participation in global law and policy courses at Georgetown and Bocconi University. Nehir aims to pursue a career in law, focusing on global policy and legal advocacy.
