Dareen mohamed & Julie Menon

Content Directors

Dareen Mohamed and Julie Menon are second-year students at Sciences Po, majoring in Politics and Government on the Menton Campus.

Dareen being Jordanian-Ukrainian, she is looking forward to seeing both delegates and chairs from all around the world unite to simulate groundbreaking debates. Dareen has participated in Model UN conferences throughout high school, and it is one of the major reasons she chose the social sciences. Through her role, she is hoping to create a community where new and experienced delegates learn to debate from various perspectives, as well as respect, value, and truly think about opposing viewpoints of their fellow delegates in order to leave MEDMUN having heard new opinions from different backgrounds

Of French nationality, Julie has spent her entire life in North African countries, between Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. Having lived mainly in the countries of the MENA region, she was able to discover the geopolitical issues of the region and, therefore, became more interested in history, geopolitics, but also in world peace issues. Julie's involvement in the MUN club in her high school, first as a member, then the following year as vice-president, and her participation in the MEDMUN 2022 and 2023 editions helped her build a general culture based on the preparation of debates, particularly within the framework of the system of international organizations. Last year, for MEDMUN 2024, she took on the role of co-leader of the French committees, a stimulating position to recreate this framework of international openness and debates within the French committees. Now, as the conference co-director, she looks forward to leading and guiding the new Content pole team with Dareen to make MEDMUN 2025 the best academic experience possible!
